MP3

The number of MP3s increased in the year of 2003. MP3s can be bought or downloaded from the Internet. Competitors of MP3 are companies like Macintosh, Gateway and many more. Macintosh’s latest MP3 player was the IPOD. There are so many types of MP3 players.

It's Memory!

There are many Mp3 Players that come in all different sizes but they mostly come in small sizes. The memory could be stored in two to three hours of digital music (depending on the amount of memory they have). When you download music onto an MP3 player, rather than being stored on a tape or CD, it is saved to memory chips or removable memory cards. One advantage of storing music on removable memory cards is that you can use them and you can create more permanent collections of your favorite songs. The new players with hard drives in them, such as the iPod, can store weeks of music on end.

About IPod

The IPod has a touch wheel that makes scrolling through the entire music collection quick and easy. The IPod has an all-touch interface, which improves the stability and the sensitivity of the product. With an LCD screen and buttons, which feature a backlight for clear light when it is in a dark surrounding. IPod is designed for easy one-handed operation. So the best way to take an entire music collection anywhere is now even better.

My Interview

This interview is with an IPod customer: Miss Radden

Q- How many Mp3 Players did you ever have?
I have been through three mp3 Players.
Q-Which mp3 player did you like the most? and why?
My IPod. It has a lot of memory for a lot of songs and for data. I also like how easy it is to use and how light it is. It is really easy to find the song I want using the software that comes with it called Itunes.
Q-What kind of music do you listen to on your mp3?
All kinds of music. Mostly rock.
Q-Was the price of the mp3 player kind of too much or is it worth it?
I would say I paid about $150 more than my other player but I got twenty times more memory and a more reliable player, so yes it was worth it but I think I got more memory than I needed cause I only used 2 Giga bytes and it holds 15 giga bytes. At first I was going to buy a thirty GB one but I realized I didn’t need it.
Q- Can you tell us steps to putting music in the mp3 player?
There are two ways:
1. I go to the music store on Itunes. I search for the song I want and I buy the song for 99cents or the entire album for $9.99. This way I purchase my song legally.
2. I take my CD’s I own and rip the songs I want onto my computer using Itunes. This converts my CD song into an mp3.
Then I arrange my songs into a play list and plug in my iPod. Itunes automatically updates my IPod with my songs, then I unplug my IPod from my computer, I plug in my earphones and go!
