Technology as we know it is something that we use in everyday life.

Not just the adults use it but us kids use it as well. For example I interviewed some of the students and teachers here at TBA! I had asked them all only two simple questions, which were…

“What types of technology do you use here at Tech Boston Academy?”

And

“ What and how is the technology used here at Tech Boston Academy?”

Let’s look at some of the results!!!!!

*Mr. Cooper said he uses a labtop so that he can do all of his work, make report cards, progress reports, letters to go home and more. He also uses a PDA organizer, which is a personal digital assistance device to keep him organized and all up to date.

*Mrs. Skipper said that she uses IP phones for conference meetings and voice mail. She stated “I don’t think that we could live without them. They are a big help to us.” Mrs. Skipper also added that she uses digital cameras, printers, paper shredders, and smart boards.

*Mrs. Benton, who we all know as our school librarian, said that she uses a video tape editing computer and a digital camcorder, for many different reasons.

* When interviewing the sophomore and the freshmen kids they all replied in the same words. They all told me that they used a labtop for working on Microsoft word, Inspiration, Microsoft Power Point and more. The students told me that they used all of those programs so that they could do their projects and homework. The students also told me that they use the computer so that they could go on the Internet to look up things for school and sometimes just to go on and have fun. One more thing that every single student that I had interviewed told me was that they use their computer for going on their email to receive attachments from their teachers and to receive messages from their friends.

Everybody uses different types of technology for all different types of reasons. We might not all realize it but we are all really lucky to have labtops. It is a great privilege that we take advantage of. Think about how when we all lost our computers when someone ate Mr. Coopers sandwich. The very first day all of us were lost without our computers and we were mad about it because we had to do everything by hand and we couldn’t finish our assignments. We where restricted from a lot of things. So we should all be thankful for our labtops and for being able to have all the access that we have. So in conclusion don’t take advantage of it!!!
