The first issue of the Techboston Academy school newspaper, The Messenger@TechBoston Academy, was built by a staff of eighteen sophomores. The students used digital cameras, web design software, and Adobe Photoshop to develop an online version of the articles they wrote in their English class. Topics range from technology and entertainment, to after school activities and editorials.

A staff of selected students continue to develop ongoing editions of the newspaper using a web tool provided by a high school newspaper Web hosting service from the American Society of Newspaper Editors. The Messenger@TechBoston Academy has been submitted into the national database of high school newspapers at www.highschooljournalism.org,
and features a creative writing and personal art gallery section, called "Invision."
